In order to make your maps compatible is quite easy and will not require a great deal of work on your part, however you will need to make some changes to your maps in advance of our release. If these changes are not made, you won't be able to open your map in the editor and it will be difficult to continue work on.
To prepare your maps, open them in the editor and remove the following:
- All vehicle factories
- All satchel charge and panzerfaust pickups that have been placed in the map
- All ammo resupply volumes
Once we have released our new version, you can then open the map and add these items back in again. Please be aware that the names of these objects will have changed slightly, as will some of their properties. If your map does not contain any of the above items, then no changes need to be made and it will be compatible.
Now, for everyone else, this update is the final news post that I will be making for new content and features. We may possibly do another map showcase next week, however what you see here are the last few things that we haven't told you about, with the possible exception of anything minor that may have slipped my mind.
One other important thing to mention – In our first update I stated that DH-Stavelot would be part of our release. This is no longer the case due to some very serious problems with the map. We've been trying to get it repaired, however it's been weeks and it's going to require more weeks still to get it back to good working order, so unfortunately it'll be sitting this one out and will reappear next time around.
